HOW ARE THE EXTENSIONS APPLIED?

All Jay Robert-Edwards Natural Hair Extensions hair is applied using a method of corn-row braids and wefts. There is no application of any bonding agents (glue, wax, clamps etc) to your own hair. All Jay Robert-Edwards Natural Hair Extensions wefts are meticulously hand made by one of the world's finest hair artisans, Jay Robert-Edwards. The method Jay uses dates back to the ancient Egyptians and was created for royalty such as Cleopatra. This method has been passed down through generations and remains unchanged today. Jay hand blends the hair a strand at a time to create a custom designed head of hair especially for you.

WILL THE EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY OWN HAIR?

Jay's application method has been formulated over 20 years to protect and nurture delicate Caucasian hair. NO glue, wax, metal clamps or other potentially destructive methods are used in the application. Your own hair is protected and able to grow out naturally without the danger of splitting and breaking off. In fact, if you have never been able to grow your own hair past a certain length, then having Jay Robert-Edwards Natural Hair Extensions will actually encourage your own hair to grow longer, stronger and healthier in the process.

DOES IT HURT?

If the Jay Robert-Edwards method is done correctly the application should be completely pain free and comfortable to wear. Remember our motto "If it hurts, RUN!". Pain associated with any hair extension application may signal damage to your own hair and scalp.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN MY HAIR GROWS?

After initial application, the Extensions will need to be "tightened" every 6-8 weeks - depending upon how quickly your own hair grows. CAN I STYLE THE EXTENSIONS?

YES! You can blow dry, set, curl and style Jay Robert-Edwards Natural Hair Extensions just like your own hair. The only difference is - it just looks better!

HOW DO I TOUCH UP MY COLOR?

If you currently color your own hair, then you can continue this when you are wearing your hair extensions. This means that the bulk of your own hair is left in the virgin state and if you eventually ever want your extensions removed you will find long, luscious healthy virgin hair underneath.
